"Train" 53, of Rosewood Ave, passed Thursday, March 25th at Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island peacefully with his loving daughter by his side.
He was the former husband of Dawn (McDiarmid) Marcou.
Born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Lionel and Margaret (Levesque) Charest.
He was the proprietor of Stop & Go Auto for many years and loved riding his Harley.
Lionel was the head coach for the Stop and Go Wildcats co-ed softball team and served in the US Army.
He is survived by a daughter, Amanda Charest of Cumberland, three sisters, Margaret Beaudowin, of Woonsocket, Alice Charest and Theresa Cardin, a brother, Michael Charest all of Pawtucket and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Monday, March 29th at 10am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited, calling hours will be held Sunday, from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Home and Hospice of RI, 1085 North Main St, Providence RI 02904
