April 2, 1968 - March 12, 2017

Gladys was a happy, loving, and caring person
Always on the go... Her energetic personality kept everyone on their feet, even when they wanted sleep

48, passed away on March 12, 2017. Born in Brooklyn, NY but moved to Puerto Rico when she was 6 months old and returned to the U.S. at the age of 11 where she lived Rhode Island for the rest of life. She was the daughter of Carmen Torres and late Jose Irizarry. Besides her mother she survived by her six children, Carmen (Jackie), Nanie, Keyla, Orlando, Lionel and Ray Two beautiful granddaughters, Mahlina and Annalyiah Four brothers, Jor-El, Orlando, Lionel, Rafi, Three sisters, Yoly, Dalila, Daisy All her nieces and nephews will love her and miss her dearly.
El azul de tus ojos siempre nos guiara a traves del cielo que nos cubre con su manto cada dia. El recuerdo de tus ocurrencias nos haran reir. Aunque te hayas marchado, siempre viviras en nuestros corazones.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 16th from 6 - 9pm, at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Her funeral will be Friday at 11am. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence.
