Wife of the late Aime Gaston Simoneau and Sidney Clare Rigby. Daughter of the late James and Maria Carline. Sister of the late Lillian Brown, James Carline and William Carline. Born in Salford, Manchester, England Gladys came to Pawtucket, R.I. in 1923 and lived there 58 years. Moved to South Kingston in 1981. Resident of South Kingston Nursing and Rehab the last few years. Survived by her four children: Beverly Merrill of North Smithfield, George Rigby of Pawtucket, Wayne Simoneau of South Carolina and Larry Simoneau of South Kingston. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Private memorial service will be held at R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter, R.I.
