66, of Attleboro, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, surrounded by his loving family in his home. He was the loving husband of Barbara (Carr) Brady for 34 years. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Edgar and Rita Brady. He was a 1970 graduate of Pawtucket Vocational. Mike was employed by The Pawtucket Times for 37 years until his illness.
Besides his wife, Mike is survived by his three children; Linda Carr of North Attleboro, Michael Brady Jr. of Cumberland and Kristen Matsumoto and her husband Jonathan of Attleboro. He was also the cherished Grandfather to his pride and joy, Chase Michael Matsumoto. He was the brother of James Brady of Attleboro, Paul Brady of Burrillville and Mary Tavares of Port Charlotte, Fla.
Mike enjoyed spending time with his family and friends along side his two dogs Bindi and Kiki and his grand dogs Rooney and Tex. Mike will always be remembered as a generous person who was always there to lend a hand to anyone in need. He took pride in being a great Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and friend. He is irreplaceable and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at 5 P.M. on Sunday, May 7th at the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Calling hours will be from 2 - 5 P.M.
Since Mike loved dogs so much, in lieu of flowers, a donation to an animal charity of your choice in Mike's memory would be appreciated.
