42, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Miriam Hospital, Providence. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii he was the son of Michelle (Bergeron) Goudreau of Lincoln and the late Michael N. Goudreau of East Providence.
Michael worked as a loan officer and is a graduate of Providence College, receiving a Masters in Theological Studies. He also completed continuing education courses at Harvard University. Michael used his education along with his passion for helping and healing others through volunteer counseling at La Salette Shrine by means of the Word of the Lord.
Michael was also fortunate to do some fashion modeling and enjoyed working as an extra in several movies including Celtic Pride. He loved movies and could identify a quote from any movie. His favorite was, "Funny? Funny how? How am I funny?" ~Goodfellas
Besides his Mother, he is survived by his loving sister, Melissa Punchak and her husband, David of North Smithfield, RI; and his two nephews David and Joshua Punchak.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 30th at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Avenue, Lincoln, RI from 5pm to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 31st at St. Jude Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln, at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. A lunch gathering will be held at The Lodge, 40 Breakneck Hill Rd., Lincoln, RI 02865, following the funeral mass. All are welcome to attend.
