36 of North Providence, formerly of Pawtucket, passed unexpectedly on July 30th. He was born in Pawtucket, the son of Charles Newton of North Providence and Debra Newton of Lincoln and stepson of Jo-Anne Newton of North Providence and Edison Leite of Lincoln. Kenny graduated from the New England Tractor Trailer School and was employed by Tech Transport Inc.

He was an avid New York Giants and Boston Celtics fan. He enjoyed cooking, motorcycling and most of all, spending time with his son drawing and playing games.

He is survived by his parents, his cherished son Kenny Newton Jr. whom he considered the greatest gift on earth, his maternal grandfather Robert Palardy, his brother Charles R Newton III, his beloved niece Marisa Newton, an uncle, several aunts, and many cousins.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Irene Newton, and his maternal grandmother, Betty Palardy. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made payable to the Kenny R Newton Jr. Education Fund, c/o Daniel Harrop, 469 Centerville Road, Suite 203, Warwick, R.I. 02886.

Funeral Services to be held at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Avenue, Lincoln on Saturday August 5th at 8:45 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St John's the Baptist Church, 68 Slater Street, Pawtucket, Burial will be in Mount St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visitation will be Friday August 4th 5 to 8. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
