passed away after a long battle with Alzheimers Disease on Saturday September 9, 2017, at the age of 86.
John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of almost 68 years, Barbara Rose. He leaves behind his children Kathleen (Raymond) Cabbabe, Joyce (William) Sharp, Kevin (Susan) Lynch and John Lynch Jr.
He was an incredible Papa to his 12 grandchildren Kelly (Joseph), Kaitlyn (Jonah), Kassidy (Bradford), Alexander (Sherrie), Jocelyn (Nelson), Kevin (Kayla), Michael, Jennifer, Timothy, Benjamen, Averi and Jaden.
He was a GREAT great-grandfather to 8, Thomas, Savina, Maverick, Ryden, Evyanna, Kamden, Ma'rae and Aniah.
He was a proud member of the Carpenters Union Local 342 which later became Local 94 for 50 years. During his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, telling stories, working in his workshop and garage, playing solitaire and singing "Oh Danny Boy."
As one of Jehovah's Witnesses John believed in the promise that Jehovah gave in the Bible, that there will be a resurrection of the dead and hope for all to live in a perfect paradise on earth.
Visiting hours will begin at 12pm on Saturday September 16, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. A memorial talk will be given at 1pm. The Kingdom Hall is located at 536 Great Road Lincoln, RI.
