55, of East Providence passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 surrounded by her loved ones. She was the wife of Edward Kosowski Sr. of East Providence. Cheryl was the daughter of Everett Santagata and the late Carol (Braga) Santagata of Seekonk. Besides her husband of 30 years, she is survived by her father, sisters Charlene Santagata-Abbott of Warwick and Noreen Custodio-Grilli of Warren, son Edward Kosowski, Jr. and his partner Nicole Dimeo of Seekonk, and daughter Lillian Kosowski and her partner Kristen Fox of East Providence. In addition, she is survived by one grandson, Edward Kosowski III.

Cheryl's kind heart and selflessness shined through each and every day, and she made an impact on everyone she met. She loved spending time with her family, whether it was playing board games, watching the Patriots game, or just talking and laughing. Cheryl's infectious laughter and kind smile will be missed by all.

Cheryl was a member of Classical High School's class of 1980, and later obtained her Medical Secretary and Assistant License. Cheryl was an integral member of Women and Infants Hospital's Prenatal Diagnosis Center for close to 25 years, where she left her mark on all with whom she worked.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 1:00 - 4:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave., Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Church, Taunton Avenue in East Providence. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society in Cheryl's memory.
