Born in Brava, Cape Verde, a son of the late Domingos Lima and Maria Santos Lima. He is survived by a son, Mathew Lima and his wife Ashley, a daughter, Tania Lima, granddaughters, Kinsley Lima and Sophia Lima, brothers, Peter Lima and his wife Fatima, Manuel Lima of Pawtucket, and John Lima his wife Susan of Seekonk, sisters, Anna Santos of East Providence, Alice Lomba and Luisa Goncalves of Pawtucket, nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Fortunato Lima.
His funeral service will be held Saturday, October 7th at 10am, from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Please arrive by 9:30 am Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Friday from 5 to 8pm.
