85, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on October 30th. He was the beloved husband of Domingas (Lopes) DeBarros. Born in Brava, Cape Verde he was a son of the late Francisco Fernandes and Maria DeBarros.
He was a painter for the New York Housing Authority for many years settling in Pawtucket after retirement. Camacho enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children Tchichico, Genia, Maria, Jose, Dudu, Cacai, Vica, Gimiraldo, Marta, John, Danny and Charlie, brother of Anita, Abel, Margarida, Lina, Candia, Bibica, Nanai and Tata many grandchildren, several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Cadji and brother of the late Nando, Juvel, Ecilda and Maria
His funeral will be held on Saturday, November 4th at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. John the Baptist Church, Quincy Ave., Pawtucket. Graveside burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Friday from 5-8pm. Relatives and friends are invited.
