93, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on November 2, 2017. He was the loving husband of Julia (Lomba) DeBarros for 65 years. Born in Brava, Cape Verde he was a son of the late Maria (Isabel) DeBarros.
Besides his wife he is survived by 11 children, Jose, Ana, Manuel, Ester, Daty, Tutu, Genia, Ilda, Djicai, Joao, Mily; 4 siblings, Lexo, Tchubinha, Rosa, Sabel; and many adored grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his brother, Eduardo and his sister Emilia.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 7th at 8:30am from Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Anthony Church, Lawn Ave., Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5pm until 8pm. Relatives and friends are invited.
