Sunrise August 5, 1956 to Sunset November 2, 2017

Larry was born in Providence on August 5, 1956 he was the son of Lauriston Ashe Sr. and Arsena Ashe.

He graduated LaSalle Academy and became a pipefitter for Local 51, a position he held for over 30 years. Larry's favorite motto was "I have the simplest tastes! Only want the best" and he did have the best of everything.
His mother encouraged Larry in that area, she told him to get whatever you can afford that makes you happy as no one is promised tomorrow, and he didn't always follow her suggestions but boy, did he follow that one. He lived the good life. Larry loved to play chess and would study books and record moves to perfect his game. He loved making sweet potato pies. He liked going to movies and eating out. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Larry could light up a room. He was loved by all he came in contact with. He had such a good heart and would help anyone.

Larry is survived by his mother, Arsena Ashe, his father Larry Ashe sr. and two brothers, Randall Kee Kee Ashe and Curtis Ashe. He also had half siblings, Kevin Munroe, dean Wray, Brittany Wray and Dominique Newkurk, Lauriston Robinson, Randy Smith, Marcus Denson, Douglas Denson, Justin Adams, Yolanda Denson, Dominque Adams and Ashley Ashe. His children are: Lauriston Mann Robinson, Randy Smith, Marcus Denson, Douglas Denson, Justin Adams, Yolanda Denson, Dominique Adams and Ashley Ashe. He has many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Larry wants us to know he is in a good place and watching us with a smile on his face. Although he has gone his spirit will live in in each of us forever. When you look to the shy look for the brightest star and that will be Larry looking down on us from up high. We thank the good Lord above for blessing us with Larry with his kindness and love. Dear God if it is not too much trouble, take extra care of Larry as he is dear dear to us

A funeral service will be held Thursday, November 9th at noon in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited and may visit Thursday morning starting at 10am.
