61, passed away on Dec 7th surrounded by his loving family. Born in Fogo, Cape Verde, he was the son of Clara Dos Santos, and Domingos DePina. Manuel was employed in the restaurant industry. He is survived by daughters Elizabeth, Olinda, Belinda, Celina, Lizangela, Kassandra, and one Son Nuno Depina. Eight brothers, Domingos, Joao, Lucindo, Lindo, Agosto, Adolfinho, Ledo, Francisco, Nene, and four sisters, Titia, Nucencia, Chunchun, Neta,. Four Grandchildren and many nieces, and nephews
Manuel had a favorite pastime, which was to watch WWE wrestling with his nephews and his grandson John. He also loved to play a popular Cape Verdean game called "urin" and of course "bisca" He loved to watch "Novelas" on the Spanish channels with his sister-in-law Lia. He was the most caring, and sweet man, as his family can attest to.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday Dec 11th at 9:30 am, in the Holy Spirit Parish, Dexter Street, Central Falls. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, North Main Street, Providence, Rhode Island. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, Dec 10th, from 1 to 4 pm in the Keefe Funeral Home Five Higginson Avenue, Lincoln, Rhode Island.
