77, passed peacefully May 31, 2010 at the Philip Hulitar Center, with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Mary Ann (St. John) Gaspar. They would have been married 53 years in July.
He had been employed by Valley Gas for 30 years and was the proprietor of James Gaspar Photography Studio. James was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Besides his wife he is survived by three daughters, Donna Sangermano and her husband Michael, Jamie Crosby and her husband John, and Claudine Gaspar, three sons, James Gaspar Jr. and his wife Leigh, Christopher Gaspar and Michael Gaspar and his wife Melanie, five grandchildren, Michael Sangermano Jr, Brittany Sangermano, Jimmy Gaspar, Chloe Gaspar and Jonathon Crosby.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St Pius V Church, Eaton St, Providence at 10am followed by burial with Military Honors. Relatives and friends are invited, calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5-8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St, Providence RI 02904.
