81, passed on January 16th. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Domenic and Irene (Pommenville) Ogni.
She had been employed by the former Central Braid and Rug and then for Robert Allen Fabrics
for many years before retiring. She also dedicated time at the family business Jungle Junction of Cumberland. She was a member of the Wilfred Manor Association where she resided the past 15 years. Irene was a member of the "Blue Knights" and "Jesse Roamers" motorcycle clubs. Irene is survived by a son, George E. Lemieux and his wife Mary of Rock Island, Illinois, a daughter, Renee I. Ducharme and her husband Walter of Cumberland, Siblings, Domenic Ogni, Arthur Ogni, grandchildren, Kelly Ford, Abby Lemieux, Sam Lemieux, Nicolette Ducharme, five great grandchildren, a great-great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
She was the former wife of the late Rene H. Lemieux and sister of the late Rita Langlois.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 21th in the Chapel Street Congregational Church, 185 Chapel St, Lincoln at 12:30PM. Burial will be private.
