56, passed away Thursday, January 25th surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Maria Pereira Andrade for over 30 years. Born in Brava, Cape Verde, Artur was the son of Jose Rodrigues, and Domingas Faria Pinto. He worked in manufacturing for many years. Besides his wife he is survived by five sons, Austelino Rodrigues, Alcides Rodrigues, Francisco Rodrigues, Jose Rodrigues and Joaquin Dias, three daughters, Domingas Rodrigues, Sonia Rodrigues, and Angela Fortes, two sister, Isabel Barbosa,Benvinda Fontes, a brother, Alcides Rodrigues and 13 grandchildren. He was predeceased by three sons and two brothers.
His funeral will be held, at 8:45, AM Tuesday, January 30, 2018, from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Avenue, Lincoln, Rhode Island 02865, with a Mass of Christian Burial at St, Anthony Church, Lawn Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Burial will be graveside in Swan Point Cemetery, Blackstone Boulevard, Providence, Rhode Island. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend calling hours from 5PM to 8PM on Monday January 29, 2018.
