91 years old, was carried by Angels to heaven to meet her beloved Irishman, John C Byrnes (CFPD ret Fearless Four), on February 16, 2018.

Suzanne retired as the Assistant Director of the Central Falls Housing Authority, Director Central Senior Center, and served as Board member to Dexter Credit Union, Community Counseling (Gateway), Holy Trinity Mother's Club, Catholic Women's Club, RI Chapter IFCA, Notre Dame High Alumnae Association, and St. Joseph Historic Women's Club.

In 1961, she was appointed by Mayor Raymond Morrissette as the 1st mayoral secretary for the City of Central Falls.

Suzanne graduated from Notre Dame High School and was a Girl Scout Leader for St Mathieu and Holy Trinity troops.

She aided with the founding of Camp Ker-Anna with Fr. Roland Gadoury and scouts in 1937.

She is survived by her children: Christine, Maureen and John (Susan Daigle), grandchildren: Jeffrey (Heather Wain) and Erin (Tom Lydon), and great-grandchildren: Emma, Jake, Tucker and Charlotte as well many 1st cousins, nieces, nephews and friends in RI, TX, FL, Montreal and the US.

She was predeceased by her Canadian French immigrant parents, Ernest and Rose Alma (LaSalle) Gazaille, her siblings, Jean Paul (Georgette), Giselle (Gerry) Tanguay and Joan/Jean d'Arc (Patrick) Maio.

Visitation will be Monday February 19, 2018 from 4pm to 8pm at the Keefe Funeral Home 5 Higginson Avenue Lincoln RI

On Saturday February 24, 2018 visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Keefe Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Historic St. Joseph's Church 1303 Mendon Road, Cumberland RI.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Suzanne's memory to Camp Ker-Anna (500 Reservoir Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864), Historic St. Joseph Building Fund (1303 Mendon Road P.O. Box 7005 Cumberland RI 02864), Hope Hospice and Palliative of RI (1085 N Main St, Providence, RI 02904).
