89, passed April 14th, surrounded by love. He was the husband of Sandra (Thorpe) McGee, father of Danny, Michael, Cathie and Debbie and a great Poppie to 7 wonderful grandchildren. Jim served during the Occupation of Japan and was a Lieutenant on the former Fairlawn Fire Dept for 25 years.
Funeral Thursday, April 19th at 8:45am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Jude Church, Front St, Lincoln at 10am. Burial with military honors in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 5pm until 8pm. In lieu of flowers please give to woundedwarriorproject.org
