77, of Hedley Ave, passed June 19th at home with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Doris (Desmarais) Lafreniere; they would have celebrated their 56th anniversary in July.
Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Walter and Blanche (Allard) Lafreniere.
He had been employed for 25 years by Collyer Wire and Triangle Wire for 12 years. He was a member of the Int. Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 1196.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son, David Lafreniere of
Central Falls, two daughters, Darlene Sivo of Cranston and Donna Walter of Warwick, six grandchildren, Katrina and Jason Sivo, Ashley and Matthew Walker, Nicholas and Jessica Lafreniere. He is also survived by two sisters, Rita Rickell and Pauline Cartwright, both of Central Falls. He was the brother of the late Roger, Paul, and twin brother Ernest Lafreniere.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 6-8pm from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday in St Matthew Church, Dexter St Central Falls at 9:30am. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
