74, of Forand Manor completed her journey on June 23, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Bernadette (Sawyer) and Achille Houle.
She is survived by two sisters; Rita Houle of Central Falls and Madeleine Palin of Lincoln, 6 brothers; Adrien Houle of Pawtucket, Andre Houle of South Attleboro, Jean-Paul Houle of Greenville, Normand Houle of Central Falls, Wilfrid Houle of Coventry, Roger Houle of Biloxi, MS. She was the sister of the late Eugene Houle, Gaston Houle and Pauline Lussier.
She was the loving “Aunt Lu” to 28 nieces and nephews including the late Susan, Robert and Alfred Houle.
Lucille was a Eucharistic Minister at the former Notre Dame Church. She worked at Ann & Hope for 32 years.
Her Funeral will be held Saturday, June 26th Relatives and friends are invited to call starting at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am in St. Matthew Church, (Holy Spirit Parish) Dexter St, Central Falls. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the ministry of Sr. Beatrice Rogers c/o Holy Spirit Parish, 1030 Dexter St, Central Falls, RI 02863 or to the Emergency Food Center, 75 Benefit St. Pawtucket, RI, 02860.
