81, passed away peacefully on August 8th at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry E. Proulx (Hank). Born in Pawtucket she was the daughter of the late Joseph Tremblay and Marie Reine (Pepin).
Helen was an avid bowler, Hi-Lo Jack player, dancing clown, loved making crafts, cooked daily and had her own "Meals on Wheels". She loved going to La Salette, attending daily Mass, and relaxing on her hammock or glider praying the rosary.
She is survived by two daughters, Debra Lamoureux and husband Daniel, Donna Demers and husband Louie; two grandchildren, Kerri Pimental and husband Christopher and Ashleigh Demers; two brothers, Gerard and Dennis Tremblay; four sisters, Angel Tetrault, Andrea Conlon, Lucille Bourgault, Theresa Finnegan; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased her brothers, Bernard, Henry, Michael, Walter, and Robert Tremblay and sister, Estelle Brady.
Her child-like confidence and deep humility never missing a single opportunity of making some small sacrifice, a smiling look, a kind word always doing the smallest deed and doing it with love.
Her funeral will begin at 9:30am on Saturday, August 11th from Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Jude Church, Front St., Lincoln at 11am. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 - 7pm. Relatives and friends invited. In Lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Jean the Baptist Food Pantry, 69 Quincy Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02860.
