80, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 7th in Providence. He was the Husband of Judith J. Fernandes DePina.
Born in Brava, Cape Verde, a son of the late Benjamin DePina and Julia Lopes. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Arcenia DePina, Manuel DePina, Maria Monteiro, Carmen Helena DePina, Domingas Lopes, Junior DePina, Euclides DePina, Clarinda Andrade, Joaquim Goncalves, Alda Goncalves and Idelia DePina, 39 grandchildren and 58 great grandchildren.
His funeral will begin on Tuesday, August 14th at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 291 High St., Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5 - 8pm. Relatives and friends are invited.
