64, of High Service Ave, passed July 21, 2010. He was the husband of Jo-Ann (Slosek) Brooks.
He was the son of Ernest and Margaret (Wakefield) Brooks.
He was employed by Stop & Shop for 25 years and was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. Ernest is also survived by a son, Ernest Brooks III, a brother, David Brooks, all of North Providence, and a grandson, Justin Lee Brooks.
Visitation will be held Saturday starting at 9:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Requiem Mass in St. Paul Episcopal Church, Park Place, Pawtucket at 11am. Burial with Military Honors will be in Moshassuck Cemetery, Central Falls.
