71, of VJ Doyle Manor, Pawtucket, died Sunday, September 26, 2010, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was born in Wilmington, DE, the youngest son of the late Nathan and Rose Rubin Abrahams. He grew up in Miami and Coral Gables, FL, and graduated from Coral Gables H.S. He was the dear father of Kyria Abrahams of Queens, NY and Noah Abrahams of Irvine, CA.
Besides his beloved children, Gerald is survived by his older brother and sister, Ronald Abrahams of Maryville, TN, and Barbara Abrahams Guiler of St. Petersburg, FL, in addition to numerous nieces, great nieces and great nephews, and his former wife Elizabeth Abrahams-Sylvester of North Providence.
Prior to retiring, Gerald was a bookkeeper/office manager in RI and CT.
Gerald had been one of Jehovaha's Witnesses for 43 years and a memorial service will be held for him at the Kingdom Hall, 536 Great Rd, Lincoln, RI on Saturday, Oct 9, 2010 at 2 pm.

According to his children: "It's too bad life can't be all Saturday mornings, frozen pizzas, trips to the park, and 'Creature Double Feature'. We'll miss you, Dad."
