85, of Diamond Hill Rd, passed away November 3, 2010. He was the husband of Theresa (Robideau) Richard, they would have celebrated their 63rd anniversary on November 27th.
Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Raoul and Lillian (Berger) Richard.
He had been employed as an electrician at the Newport Navy Base, and previously Natick Labs and at the Navy base at Quonset Point. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII service as a Chief Petty officer first class from 1942 to 1946
Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Janet Birt of Cumberland, a son, Arthur Richard of Woonsocket, four brothers, Normand R, Robert J, Fernand R, and Lionel W. Richard, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his brother Paul.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 8:45am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a mass of Christian Burial in St. Aidan Church, Diamond Hill Rd, Cumberland at 10am. Burial with military Honors will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited, calling hours will be held Friday from 5-8pm.
