78, passed on December 1st 2010 with her loving family by her side.
She was the beloved wife of Lucio Gianquitti; they have been married and shared a special bond for 56 years.
She was a daughter of the late William J. and Eva (Roy) Messier. Florence was a communicant of St. Ann Church.
Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Steven L. Gianquitti and his wife Lisa of North Attleboro and Paul A. Gianquitti of Franklin, MA, five grandchildren, Steven Jr, David, Giana, Alexander, and Adrianna. A brother, William J. Messier Jr, a sister, Evelyn Pires, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Robert, Edmond, and Leo Messier and Dorothy Pina.
Visiting hours will held Friday at 9:00am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann Church, Hawkins St, Providence at 11:00am.
Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Home & Hospice care of RI, 1085 North Main St, Providence RI 02904.
