Born in Central Falls, the son of the late Victor and Eva (Marchand) Fontaine. Victor lived in Central Falls his entire life. He was employed by Cumberland Engineering for over 30 years before retiring.
Victor was the husband of the late Irene (Theberge) Fontaine. He is survived by his two sons, Richard of Providence, Victor of Coventry, and a daughter, Rachel Casto of West Greenwich, Victor has seven Grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, he was the father of the late Alfred Fontaine.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:30 am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday in Holy Spirit Parish (Saint Matthews Church) Dexter St, Central Falls at 11:00am. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
