(Lanois) 76, of Grand Ave, passed peacefully with her family by her side on April 10th. She was the loving wife of 45 years to Joseph Daviau. Born in Pawtucket, Delores was the daughter of the late Albert and Grace (Elderkin) Lanois Sr.
She had been employed by the former Carties Health Center for many years and also worked at Grandview Nursing Center.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, David Riley of Pawtucket, Michael Riley of Central Falls, and Dwayne Daviau of Pawtucket, two daughters, Sharon Lemire of Pawtucket, and Kimberly Connors of Florida, a sister Mary Read of Pawtucket, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Richard D, Riley, and Scott Daviau and sister of the late Albert Lanois Jr.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Edward Church, Weeden St. Pawtucket at 10 am. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited, calling hours will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm.
