75, of Whipple Road, passed away at home Wednesday surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Archambault.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William and Madeline (Manning) O'Brien. She lived in Smithfield on her rural farm for the past 50 years, previously residing in Cumberland.

She was a communicant of St. Michael's Church, Smithfield; and previously a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, Cumberland. She graduated St. Xavier Academy and was a devout Catholic.

Mrs. Archambault was self-employed in her late husband's textile business, Alfred Archambault & Sons, Inc., until her retirement. She worked lovingly with her husband on their family farm. She was a devoted mother.

She enjoyed her family, privacy, her faithful companion dog "Pippin",and was an avid daily reader. She had a strong will and was known for never complaining.

She is survived by her siblings, Claire (O'Brien) Arnold, Eloise O'Brien and William O'Brien, and; and her children, Mark, William, Stephen, Valerie and Leslie, and eight grandchildren; she was the sister of the late John O'Brien and James O'Brien

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 9am in St. Patrick Church, Broad Street, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island.
