63, a former longtime Cowden St resident, passed on June 5, 2011.
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Roger E. and Rita M. (Dube) Bertrand.
He had been employed by Hasbro of Central Falls for 12 years; he then worked for Corning Glass Works, previously GTE and Osram for 25 years.
Armand was a true sports fan cheering all the New England Teams and was also a NASCAR enthusiast. He was a member of the Forand Manor Association.
He is survived by 3 siblings, Claire LaFleur and her husband James, Ronald Bertrand and his wife Roxanne, and Linda Amaral and her husband Richard, and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 4 to 7pm followed by a prayer service at 7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private.
