"Bill" 86, passed July 5th. He was the husband of Rita (Brunelle) Hunter. They have been married for 63 years.
Bill was a self-employed Heating Contractor and a Navy Veteran of WWII.
Besides his wife he is survived by three sons, Thomas Hunter of Pawtucket, John Hunter and his wife Susan of Riverside and William F. Hunter and his wife Karla of Maine, two daughters, Susanne DeFedele and her husband Rick of Johnston and Debra Solitro and her husband George of Warwick, a sister, Ann R. Buckley of Warwick, six grandchildren, John, Jeff, Rick, Sarah, Robert and Michael, a great granddaughter, Jolene, and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral service will be held Saturday at 9am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial with military honors will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited, calling hours will be held Friday from 5 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Donor Services Center, PO Box, 444, Pittsfield, MA 01202-4444.
