89, of Hope St, passed July 8, 2011 at home with his loving family by his side.
He was the husband of Mary (Gent) Malouin.
Joe was the son of the late Herman and Clara (Moreau) Malouin.
He was the former proprietor of Malouin Cement Contractors that he established in 1946. He was the past president of the Cumberland FOPA and member of the Beagle Club.
Besides his wife he is survived by 3 sons, Richard Malouin of Leland, NC, Michael Malouin of Chepachet, RI, and Joseph Malouin Jr. of Foster, RI, a daughter, Ann Emery of Cumberland, RI, 2 sisters, Claire Lillian Murphy of Cumberland and Theresa Fortier of CA. He was the brother of the late Joseph H, Jeannette, Alice, Marie, Charles, Ernest, Rita, Doris and Donald.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 4 to 7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial with military honors will be private in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St, Providence, RI 02904
