"Lu" 71, passed July 10th with her loving family by her side.
She was the wife of the late George H. Marion Jr.
Born in Central Falls a daughter of the late Albert and Simone (Larivee) Doiron
She resided in Lincoln the past 15 years and previously was a longtime Cumberland resident. Lu was a member of the Women of St. Monica.

She had been employed by the former Star Market and its successor Almacs Supermarkets and later worked for 10 years for the American Cancer Society.

She is survived by four sons, David P. Marion of Woonsocket, Alan K. Marion of Cumberland, Daniel T. Marion of Cumberland and Neal R. Marion of Georgetown, Texas. A daughter, Leslie Marion Desjadon, of Ballston Lake, NY. A sister, Constance Boisclair of Pawtucket, 6 grandchildren, Christopher, Mahria, Dustin and Matthew Marion, Logan and Sergei Desjadon, and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Thursday at 8:45am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St Ambrose Church, 191 School St, Albion at 10am. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends invited, calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the RI Chapter of ALS, 2915 Post Rd, Warwick, RI 02886.
