"Al" 74, passed August 13th with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Constance R. (Tougas) Burgoyne.
Al was the son of the late James and Ivy (Beardsworth) Burgoyne.
He had been employed as a Postal Letter Carrier for 27 years before retiring in 1998.
Al served in the United States Air Force.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son, Keith D. Burgoyne and his wife Debra of Pawtucket, a daughter, Kerri Lynn Fournier and her husband Marc of Cumberland, a sister, Lena Nickerson, five grandchildren Jessica, Ryan and Stephanie Fournier and Brittany and Derek Burgoyne. He was the brother of the late James Burgoyne, Margaret Hearin and Barbara Shaw.
Calling hours to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday morning from 9am to 11am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St, Providence RI 02904 or to Sr. Bea's Ministry, C/o 1030 Dexter St, Central Falls, RI 02863.
