92, of Hunt St, passed peacefully on October 7th. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Barthelemi and Albertine (Ratte) Dextradeur.
Therese was a Piano Teacher for 50 years and a former member of the International Piano Teacher's Association,
She was a former Chairperson of St. Matthew Church 75th Anniversary, two year celebration, taught at their CCD Program, and was a former president of their Woman's Club. She was a volunteer at the former Notre Dame Hospital where she managed the gift shop for many years, and was a member of their Ambulatory Center Auxiliary.
Therese also was a 15 year volunteer at the Little Sisters of the Poor, and led the Choral Group at the Central Falls Community center for many years.
She is survived by her lifelong friend, Margaret "Dot" Plouffe. She is also survived by dear friends, Robert and Michelle Bradley and family, and many nieces and nephews especially Marita, Tina and Darlene Veira.
She was the sister of the late Marie Barrette, Evilda Fontaine, Rita Sylvestre, Albert Elziar, Donar, Leo, Armand and Arthur Boucher.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 9:30am in Holy Spirit Parish, Dexter St, Central Falls. Burial will be private in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Sr. Bea's ministry, c/o 1030 Dexter St, Central Falls, RI 02863
