Paula is survived by a daughter, Melissa Brooks of Central Falls, a sister, Diane Mayer of Riverside, two brothers, Kenneth Smith of Johnston and Steven Smith of East Providence and several nieces and nephews. She was the former wife of Dennis Brooks.
