75, died at home with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Eugene Allard.
Born in Burrillville, RI she was a daughter of the late Helen E. and Henry Plouffe.
She had been employed by Sturdy Memorial Hospital and also for Texas Instruments, both of Attleboro. Recently, Janet was able to move out of Golden Living Center Nursing Facility and into a home in North Dighton supported by the Cooperative Production Inc.
She is survived by three sons, Eugene Allard of South Attleboro, David Allard of Norton and Donald Allard of Attleboro, two daughters, Linda Allard of Attleboro and Debra Allard, a grand-daughter, Eva, two sisters, Carol O'Brien of Central Falls and Anita Ringuette of Florida , two brothers, Henry Plouffe of Florida and Robert Plouffe of Pawtucket and 28 nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Denise and Roger Allard and sister of the late Albert Plouffe.
Her Funeral will be held on Tuesday at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Parish, Dexter Street, Central Falls at 9:30 am. Burial will be in St. Steven's Cemetery, Attleboro. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Monday from 6 to 8pm. In Lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Cooperative Production Inc, P.O. Box 506, North Dighton, MA 02764.
