Born in Brava, Cape Verde, a son of Anna N. Gomes and the late Jose Gomes.
He had worked for Providence metalizing and the former School House Candy.
He is survived by 3 brothers, Joao J. Gomes, Jose J. Gomes, Daniel Gomes, 6 sisters, Maria Delgado, Eugenia Fernandes, Alice Xavier, Candida DePina, Anita Fernandes and Joanna Gibau and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 8:45am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony Church, Lawn Ave, Pawtucket at 10am.
