Born in Providence, a son of the late Herbert E. and Mary R. (Donovan) Brooks.
He had been employed by Martin Painting and Restoration for 25 years. He was a member of the Mathewson St. Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Melissa Brooks of Central Falls, a sister, Patricia E. Brooks Carrier of Fall River, two nieces and three nephews. He was the brother of the late Robert E. Brooks and
Carol A. Randall. Dennis was the longtime companion of the late Paula Tierney.
Calling hours will be held Saturday from 2 to 4pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private.
