94, passed peacefully with his loving family by his side at his daughter's home. He was the husband of the late Marion (Booth) Kenney.
Ted was the son of late Joseph and Sarah (McAllister) Kenney-Dyson.
He had been employed by the Wardwell Braiding Machine Company as a truck driver and carpenter and had also worked as a maintenance person at the Pawtucket Day Nursery. Ted attended the Woodlawn Baptist Church and was an Army-Air Force Veteran of WWII.
He is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Profughi and her husband Dr. Victor Profughi with whom he resided, a son, Robert E. Kenney and his wife Margaret "Peg" of Pawtucket, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers Joseph Kenney Jr, John Kenney and David Dyson.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 11am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial with Military Honors will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 7pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Woodlawn Baptist Church, Kids Campership Fund, 337 Lonsdale Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02860.
