58, formerly of Pawtucket, passed May 3rd. She was the wife of David Aguiar.
She was the daughter of Barbara (Donnelly) Rogers of Pawtucket and the late Frederick Rogers. Joyce had been employed by Matrix Inc, Pirate Cove Marina and MF Engineering.
Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by two sons, Matthew Drolet and Drew Carline, a step daughter, Tiffany Fredette, two sisters, Eileen Souza and Donna Sabatini, two brothers, David and James Rogers, three step sisters, Shirley Zab, Sherrie Manchester, Roberta Emery, a stepbrother, Robert Meyer, 3 grandchildren, a great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am from the Keefe Funeral Home Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Edward Church, Weeden St, Pawtucket at 10am. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 964 Main St, Pawtucket, RI 02860.
