passed peacefully with her loving family by her side on June 2nd. She was the wife of the late Omer Messier and Hubert Bechard. She recently celebrated her 98th birthday while receiving exceptional care at the Pawtucket Skilled Nursing.
Born in North Providence, a daughter of the late Leon and Agnes (Chartier) Lambert.
Roseanna had worked many years at the State of RI Medical Center before retiring.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Grenon of Pawtucket, her son, Norman Messier and his wife Connie of Pawtucket, a stepson, Paul Bechard Sr., five grandchildren, Jason Messier, Paul Bechard Jr, Cynthia Kramer (Joel), Donna Laplume (Herve) and Karen Quinn (Brian), three great-grandchildren, Tyler and Jordon Laplume and Victoria Quinn, several nieces and nephews, especially Vivian Manchester and her daughter, Doreen and the entire Hebert family. She was the sister of the late Lorraine Guertin.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 8am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Teresa Church, Newport Ave, Pawtucket at 11am. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd, East Providence, RI 02914. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
