“Etta” 88, passed peacefully June 17th. She was the wife of the late Alfred D. Jovin Sr.
Born in New Bedford, MA, Etta was a daughter of the late Josephat and Eva (Benoit) Angers.
She had been employed by Hasbro Industries of Pawtucket for many years.
Henriette received many citations throughout her generous life of charity, she volunteered at many food banks was always kind to those in time of need.
She is survived by a son, Raymond H. Jovin of Rumford, RI, a daughter, Rita Kunberger of Rockland, CA, three grandchildren, Carrie Perez of Providence, Quinn and Curtis Kunberger, four great grandchildren, Austin and Vanessa Perez, Anthony Almeda and Amanda Velez. She was the mother of the late Alfred Jovin Jr. and Roland M. Jovin.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9am. from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St Jean the Baptist Church, Quincy Ave, Pawtucket at 10am. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 6 to 9pm.
