91, formerly of Summer St, passed on July 5th. She was the wife of the late Roland A. Rattey.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Alma (Couture) Morin.
She was a communicant, sacristan, and longtime Eucharistic minister of the former Notre Dame Church, delivering communion to the elderly and disabled. She was a member of the Ladies of St Anne, Notre Dame Senior Citizens, a volunteer at the Blackstone Valley Emergency Food Center, Central Falls and many other volunteer activities. Gabrielle enjoyed spending her summers in Little Compton with her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Lorraine Laliberte of Richmond, RI and Pauline
Rattey of South Kingstown, two sons, Robert Rattey of Warwick and Raymond Rattey of Townsend MA, a brother, Rev. Jean Morin O.M.I. of New Orleans, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Madeleine Adams, Yvette Morin and Lucille Landry.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Parish, Dexter St, Central Falls at 9:30am. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 3 to 6pm. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Sr. Bea's Ministry, 1030 Dexter St, Central Falls RI 02863.
