91, passed with her loving family by her side on July 16, 2012. She was the wife of the late Geraldo D. Neves.
Born in Brava, Cape Verde, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Maria Teixeira.
She had been employed by Standard Romper (Healthtex) of Pawtucket for many years before retiring.
She is survived by two sons, Manuel T. Neves Sr. and his wife Sally of Pawtucket and Humberto T.D Neves Sr, and his wife Virginia of Pawtucket, two sisters, Dada Correira of Ohio, and Tiliana Teixeira of Brockton, MA, 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Samuel T. Neves Sr. and Dolores Moniz, sister of the late Edith Vales and Joseph Teixeira and grandmother of the late Manuel Neves Jr. and Gerald L. Moniz. Her funeral service will be held Thursday at 10am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery. Providence. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8pm.
