68,beloved husband, father and grandfather, went home to be with our Lord on July 14, 2012. Born in Boston Massachusetts on November 6, 1943, he was the son of the late Carmen J. and Irene H. (Eriksen) Ferraro of Tyngsboro, MA. James had been employed for many years in insurance sales. James lived in Nashua, NH from 1976-1991 when he moved to the Central Florida area. He was a resident of Altamonte Springs, FL at the time of his death.

He is survived by his beloved wife Anne-Marie (Dumont) Ferraro of Altamonte Springs, his daughter Kimberly Gannon of Gilmanton Ironworks, NH, his son James D. Ferraro of Orlando, FL and his daughter, Anne-Marie Ferraro of Altamonte Springs, FL. He is also survived by four loving and beautiful grand children: Jennie, Jessica and Hannah Gannon of Gilmanton Ironworks, NH and Grant Ferraro of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by a sister, Sandra Sheppard of Burlington, MA and daughter-in-law, Melanie (Watkins) Ferraro.

Jim loved his family and the Lord! He spent many happy times in New England boating, fishing and swimming in Lake Winnipesaukee, NH. He loved to cook for all who came to visit him. Even while he was ill he was promising dinners to all he loved or who were good to him during his illness. Other interests of Jim's was: spending time with family, boxing, tennis, political news, funny movies and movies that were based on love stories. Jim was a true romantic who never forgot an important date! He spent endless hours counseling and ministering to countless people. He had a true heart of gold! Very generous man who always put others before him. He will be sorely missed by the fortunate ones who were in his life!

Calling hours are Sunday, July 29th beginning at Noon to 2:30. A celebration of his life will follow immediately at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
