43, of Forest Ave, passed July 28th. Born in Angola, he was the son of Viviato J. Gomes and Elce de Barros Gomes.
He had been employed by Hope Global of Cumberland. He is survived by three sisters, Maria DePina of Holland, Rita Gomes of Central Falls and Fatima Gomes of Pawtucket, three brothers, Viriato Gomes of Brava, Cape Verde, Augusto Gomes of Pawtucket and Samuel Gomes of Pawtucket and 16 nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 8:45am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony Church, 32 Lawn Ave, Pawtucket at 10am. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8pm.
