86, passed away August 2, 2012 after a brief illness at Miriam Hospital. She was called home to be with her husband Normand Girard. Rita was the daughter of the late Rodrigue and Yvonne (LaSalle) Dessert. She is survived by her daughter, Ginette Girard from TX, and her son, Robert of Central Falls. She leaves behind two brothers, Gaston Dessert and family of Central Falls, and Jean-Marc Dessert and family of Florida, two sisters, Pauline Aube and family of P.Q. Canada and her constant companion & youngest sister, Lise Dessert of Central Falls. She is predeceased by two brothers Roger and Donald Dessert, three sisters, Therese Cadotte, Carmen Letourneau, and Mariette Cabral. She will be missed by all whose life she touched especially her numerous nieces & nephews. Till we meet again....watch over us.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, August 5th at 1pm followed by a prayer service at 2pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers attend the MEAT RAFFLE AT LOU'S CAFE SUNDAY @ 4PM; it will benefit a good friend of Rita's.
