84, passed away at Grandview Nursing Home on Saturday, August 4, 2012. Born in Central Falls, RI, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Marguerite (Dion) Doyon.
Clarisse retired from Shove Insurance and lived most of her life in Central Falls and Pawtucket. During her retirement she enjoyed having breakfasts with her niece Ginny Bertrand, shopping outings with her niece Paula Davy and dinner dates with her nephew Paul Doyon. At Christmas, Clarisse was famous for the varieties of fudge she made for everyone. She was an avid reader and often exchanged boxes of books with her niece Jeanne Holcomb. She remained connected with her Maine and Canadian relatives through phone calls and visits. In her younger days, she enjoyed traveling around the country.
She leaves behind her nieces and nephews (Jeanne Holcomb, Rene Doyon, Paul Doyon, William Pride, Kim King, Paula Pride, Chris Pride, Pamela Plante, Michael Plante, Virginia Bertrand and David Plante) and many great nieces and nephews. Clarisse was the sister of the late Emile Doyon, Lorraine Plante, and Helen Pride.
