85, died at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday August 9th. She was a lifelong resident of the East Side in Providence. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Ethel (Hutton) Gray. Iris was the beloved wife of the late Antone I. Perry Jr. She was the mother of the late Antone I. Perry III, sister of the late Adelaide deBarros, Ethel Winston, Edward, Billy, Belmont, and Ronald Gray. She leaves behind a brother, Howard Grey of Mattapan, MA, a daughter, Gail Waite and a son in law Beverl Waite, Sr. of East Providence. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren Terri, Antone, Miriam, Iris, I'Loner, Monica, Beverl, Brian, Adrian, Dino, the late Shawn Waite, Lance, Richard "Kojo", Anika, and Kristen all of Providence, 44 Great grandchildren and 19 great- great grandchildren. Mrs. Perry worked for Bolvia, Briars, School House Candy, and Speidel where she retired after 25 years. Most fondly remembered for her class, and impeccable sense of style. "Mrs. Perry", "Candy Grama" and "Aunt Iris" were some of her many titles. A funeral service Tuesday, August 14th at 11am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, off Smithfield Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Tuesday morning starting at 9am
